The annual landscape competition was held on the 5th December 2012.
Congratulations to all those who entered the annual Landscape Competition. While we had fewer entries than in previous years, the standard was very high. Unfortunately, we had no novice entries at all!
While not everybody enjoys taking part in club competitions, it is a great way of getting honest feedback from experienced photographers on your work. If you haven't entered a competition before, and you fancy having a go, have a word with Simon Hooper or any of the regular competition entrants, and we can help you to get started.
The judge, Peter Clark FRPS EFIAP/p APSA PPSA , awarded the trophy for the best monochrome print to Pete Atkins' ‘The Shearing No. 2’ and the ‘Roger Howes’ trophy for the best colour print to ‘Deep Midwinter’ also by Pete Atkins.
