The day started at 11am with 22 of us gathering for an image hunt whereby we had to visit five
named places and take images on three given subject per place. Those taking part were given a
pack containing; the rules, maps showing how to get to the venues, plus a check list of the subject titles for each venue.
These were:
Planters Garden Centre: Go Potty, Relax & Spiky Situation Elford Hall Gardens: Something Big,
Blooming Lovely & Creepy Crawley Fradley Junction: Movement, Colourful & Lock Middleton Hall: Something Old, That's Crafty & The Sky's the Limit Lichfield: Anything you fancy, Ice Cream &
Church Exterior.
There was no strict order in which people had to visit each venue so once everyone had arrived and had been given their pack off they went in different directions.
The venues were selected to give a wide variety of subjects and facilities for food and drink and
rest stops. As can be seen from some of the photographs taken, some of the members found the refreshments too inviting to pass up.
We were blessed with good weather throughout the day and everybody enjoyed going to venues that
in some cases they had never been to before.
The day culminated with us enjoying a lovely meal at the Horse & Jockey pub in Lichfield where we finally said our goodbyes at about 9pm. We look forward to the 2 November when there will be a
review of the images taken and it will be interesting to see people's interpretation of the subjects.
The images attached are of members taking part and hopefully after the review we will be able to display some of the members images on this site.
